Kaitlyn is the Ombudsperson at IQC, and the Manager, Graduate and Postdoctoral Programs. As the Ombudsperson, Kaitlyn provides a safe and confidential space for all members, and is a resource for distressing situations, conflict management and concerns around mental health and wellness. In her role as the Manager, Graduate and Postdoctoral Programs, Kaitlyn manages the administrative aspects of the Institute for Quantum Computing’s Graduate Studies Program, and acts as the Program Coordinator for the CryptoWorks21 program. Her responsibilities include:
Supporting, promoting, recruiting and goal-setting for the collaborative Graduate Program in Quantum Information and the CryptoWorks21 training program
Managing budget administration, records maintenance and scholarships
Preparing various reports and presentations, and
Acting as a point of contact for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
